About Marg Stark
Stark’s magazine articles have appeared in
Parents, Ladies Home Journal, Readers Digest, Prevention, and
Bridal Guide among others. A funny, down-to-earth expert, Stark
offers new parent adjustment seminars at Babies R’ US and has appeared
on hundreds of radio and TV shows, including ABC’s “The View,” CBS’
“This Morning,” “The Danny Bonaduce Show,” and the “Oliver North” radio
program. Published by Boston, Stark’s first magazine
article—about two men living and dying with AIDS—was adapted into a NBC
television movie, “Roommates.”
Stark graduated from Mount Holyoke College, got her
masters in journalism from Northwestern University, and a lot of life
lessons as the daughter of a liberal Presbyterian minister and the wife
of a conservative U.S. naval officer.
In 2003, Metropolitan
magazine selected her as one of San Diego’s “40 under 40” most
accomplished leaders. A first-time mom at 33, Stark fell in love with
her strawberry-blonde babes but was wildly disoriented and humbled by
the adjustments to motherhood.
She, her husband Duke and their two boys--boogie-boarding
fanatics Patrick and Liam--live in a fixer-upper Craftsman in sunny San
Diego, California.
